What media won’t reportHere in the People's Republic of British Columbia, we've started a special "media education project" to deal with the glut of news stories of late dealing with the saints of the pro-abortion movement. Now, most of you will have no idea what I am speaking of. Most media outlets have successfully managed to censor out news stories dealing with some pretty horrific incidents. Horrific because they involve killing. Sadly, none of these headlines grace the cover pages of the Toronto Sun, or the Vancouver Sun, or even the Winnipeg Free Press. And the reason for this is
very simple.
Dr. Bruce Steir awaits his trial for murder in the death of Sharon Hamptlon in California. Sharon died after Steir performed a "safe, legal, abortion" on her more than a year ago. Statements from clinic employees and medical records show that Steir knew during the abortion that he perforated Sharon's uterus. He ignored the problem and left the girl in the clinic without a doctor so he could catch a plane home. But it does not end there. Steir has a string of legal problems associated with his illustrious career as an abortionist. At the time of the abortion, Steir was already on medical probation because of problems involving previous abortions. He has perforated the uteruses of at least six women since 1988, according to state officials. Several required emergency surgery. He had to surrender his licence to practise in Florida 10 years ago and he was stripped of his medical privileges by the Navy in 1988. Meanwhile, the leaders of the "pro-choice" movement continue to "stand by their man.” Everywoman's Health Centre, Vancouver's first abortion mill has even sent a letter of support to Dr. Steir ... as has feminist groups and abortion clinics around North America. It is fascinating to watch the media silence. Not local media - the media in these centres are putting out the news - but the national and international media are ignoring it. In British Columbia, we issued a press release, informing the media that we would continue to speak out against violence as we have always done. But we asked the question, why is the life of an abortionist more important than the life of Sharon Hamptlon? Or of Dr. Nyesha Dehenre? All life has value ... so why are the pro-aborts protecting murderers in their ranks ... and why the cover-up by the media? It's very simple. To these folks, protecting the “sacrament” of abortion is more important than protecting the lives of those hurt, injured or killed. After all, they've been ignoring the plight of the babies for all these years. But it also shows the truth of previous observations - that the abortion industry attracts a certain type of "Doctor.” And I must confess my reticence of having one of my children ever attending one of these "caring" physicians. But now back to the media project. We are now, and in the future, going to notify the media when one of these "heroes" is incarcerated or charged. It's only right - should we not see headlines informing us of the underworld activities of these fine upstanding citizens? Should we not know the names of the women who die at the hands of these caring practitioners? Here in the People's Republic, or very own Attorney General thinks not. He wants all knowledge of anyone performing abortions banned from our thoughts and prayers. We might think that we should protect our children and loved ones from these pillars of society, but the A.G. does not. Instead, tyranny will reign and anyone muttering a nasty word against anyone performing abortion, will be sent away for reprogramming. Thankfully, you can still
get the truth on what is happening with the
So far. We're posting news items on our web site InterLIFE (www.interlife.org/) Shameless promotion, I know. But because we can get the word out ... it almost doesn't really matter what's on the front page of the Ottawa Sun. Take these news stories (from InterLIFE) ... print them out ... circulate to your local media ...to pastors ... to anyone you can think of. Let the world know what is happening - that abortion might be legal, but it has never been safe. Tell everyone you know. While they still let us. |
