The question asks: “Are you in favour of banning groups such as Lifeline, the Genocide Awareness Project, Campaign for Life Coalition and other organizations that use inaccurate information and violent images to discourage women from exploring all options in the event of pregnancy from Carleton University?”

The University of Calgary saga continued with the pro-life students of the club Campus Pro-Life hosting the Genocide Awareness Project (GAP) on April 8, despite warnings from the university administration. This was the ninth time the GAP had been hosted at this campus since 2006. The students were issued notices by campus security threatening punishment for their actions.

The students are members of the campus club Youth Protecting Youth (YPY) and have dealt with years of discrimination against them because of their beliefs about abortion.
