in April?
“He’s making a list, and checking it twice, going to find out who’s been naughty or nice...” Ahhh spring! A wonderful time of year! Life abounds all around us. Blooming, taking shape. For those of us who enjoy the wonderful gift of God, it’s a precious time of year. Pro-lifers here in B.C. have been busy little elves. So busy that those who embrace death are frothing at the mouth once again. You see, when the current regime took power, it was thought that all opposition to child killing would be banished. So drunk with abortion were the powers that be, that an edict went forth upon the land, forbidding any and all opposition to abortion outside abortion mills. So assured of victory where the lovers of death, that champagne and parties and dances took place on an annual basis, celebrating the complete and total victory over the minions who would dare challenge the culture of death. Except for a few brave souls. Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away ... a letter went forth. Indeed, the letter had a holy purpose ... to seek out new abortionists ... to boldly go where no one had gone before. It politely asked for names ... names of those who are involved in the abortion industry. It went out to 140 doctors in the small city of Kelowna. The response could have been scripted (and indeed it was, hee, hee). Terror was the response. B.C.’s newest health minister, Penny (“I never met an abortionist I didn’t like”) Priddy, announced that she would not stand for this “outing” of doctors. Proud Planned Parenthood and abortion advocate Dr. Leanne (“I would never do an abortion myself”) Lacroix ran to the press, as expected. The grim reality has set in. Abortion, at least in British Columbia, has gone underground (perhaps back to the back alley)? The CEO of the region’s new health board issued a threatening letter, reminding all good physicians and health care workers that spilling the beans on a colleague would result in possible termination of employment. Abortion was now so protected, that you are not even allowed to tell someone that you know someone is performing them. How does one refer, then, you may ask? But that’s a logical question ... and we all know what logic does to the arguments of the other side. Abortion apologist But it gets worse. Mild-mannered
pro-abortion researcher Will Offley - you know, the guy who keeps files
on all of you - provided our favorite abortion apologist, the Vancouver
Sun’s Kim Bolan, with the goods: the letter was similar to one written
by the notorious American anti-abortionist Mark Crutcher.
Offley and Bolan are proud that they finally have the goods on us. You see, the enormous amount of material that Crutcher has produced documenting the death, sexual assault and physical maiming of women who frequent abortion mills does not matter to Bolan and Offley. Defending abortion by any means necessary is the name of the game. They will let women die ... and only point out to you that Crutcher offers a distasteful comic book with old lawyer jokes turned into abortionist jokes. To that, our beloved attorney-general (who is a lawyer) shouted, “Shocking.” Ujjal Dosanjh added: “I am very concerned about the cross-border issue.” Now if we could but freeze that quote. Most Canadian abortion mill workers are card-carrying members of the National Abortion Federation (NAF), an American union of sorts of abortionists and their industry. Detailed in Crutcher’s book are the “fine specimens” who have worked at NAF clinics, and were NAF members. The specimens who maimed women, and did all manner of unspeakable horrors on their patients in the name of “choice.” And that is why we in pro-life are also very, very concerned about “the cross-border issue.” At this point, however, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms stands in the way of the evil empire totally removing all opposition to abortion. Not that they won’t try. But in the meantime, Santa’s little helpers continue to make their list ... believing that to be truly pro-life means having the “choice” in what doctor they allow their children to see ... one that supports the ending of little lives in abortion ... or one that does not. It’s a pro-choice thing.
