Streamlining court time brings some benefits to pro-life rescuers

The purpose of this article is to point out certain factors in plea-bargaining, which rescuers are not using; they are probably unaware of them. The first thing that must be understood is that 97 per cent of the criminal cases in the United States are disposed of by one kind of agreement or another. Very few cases go to trial and for a very good reason. If a defendant is offered a plea bargain and he refuses it, the sentence is ... (Continue reading)

Human cloning a frightening scenario

Now, “Clone-Aid” – a Caribbean company, advertising human clones (at a cost of $200,000 each) on the Internet is proposing that man can make man in his own image and for his own purposes. Less than two weeks after Scottish scientists announced they had successfully cloned a sheep, debate on the issue of human cloning is heating up. It appears that Dr. Margaret White, ... In fact, some of them spend a lot of time talking about you. That’s right. You. You may not know it, but Canada has a thriving healthy anti-racist industry. One that attracts tens of thousands of dollars, that is, your tax dollars. So why be concerned? Why should I even bother to mention ... (Continue reading)

Finding funds for special interests

Several times during the five-minute drive home from school, my 11-yea-old reminded me that I still hadn’t paid up the five bucks I owed her. Finally, at a long red light, I searched my wallet for the measly sum, but it was nowhere to be found. As the light turned green and my daughter turned red with exasperation, I realized once again, there was too much month left at the end of my money. Later, after (Kraft) dinner, I opened ... State battles partial-birth abortion procedure

Hidden by a blue curtain identifiable only by his raspy voice, “Dr. Doe” told a Detroit federal judge what it’s like to perform thousands of second-trimester abortions. “They’re unpleasant and gory. But they’re necessary.” Doe was the first witness in three scheduled days of testimony before U.S. District Judge Gerald Rosen.
